For the first time ever, the Gomers are recording an episode MINUTES after running their LSRs – the dreaded 18 miler, to be exact. Great idea, huh? The Gomers thought so, you’ll have to judge the results for yourself. Just a heads up – there’s bonking and second (and third) winds all over the course of this one episode, one Gomer ends up on the floor in pain for a while, and neither guy can remember exactly which episode number this is supposed to be, as if that’s difficult to find out. Plus, Gomer2 almost breaks down just THINKING about LISTENING to Sleepless in Seattle.
Plus all your favorite sections – Weeks in Review, Eat and Run (no wait, scratch that), Songs To Run To, and Week in Preview. Oh, and did someone say Awkward Current Events Chat? There’s some of that too. Happy Running!

You guys were in Newsboys?!?!
Steven – the Toto lyric from Africa you were trying to think of was “As sure as Kilamanjaro rises like an empress above the Serengeti”, I love that song too for no apparent reason.
Hey guys.. I’ve heard through other podcasts that yours is great, so I want to give it a listen. It’s kind of hard though, because it seems to be geared only at itunes users. Is there a good way to listen through RSS?
For example, I use the address:
http://www.twogomers.com/?feed=rss2
Try adding that to Google Listen. It only shows the text and then links to the site. Is that intentional? Most other podcasts give a direct audio link through the RSS.
Hi guys. I just finished listening to this episode, and I have an idea regarding the new shirts. How cool would it be to have a personalized t-shirt with ones official Gomer number? Not sure it’s economically feasible, but I figured I’d throw it out there.
Hey Gomers, I know you are currently in Minneapolis and prepping for your race tomorrow, but is it too late to donate to the cause and attain a Gomer number? I would love to have an official Gomer number to wear proudly when I run my first marathon in October. Ironically, in the same city you are now. (Twin Cities Marathon) Help me get my Gomer on! Thanks and trust your training for tomorrow. Luck has nothing to do with it. God bless.
